Lost Stars - "All I Know"

Lost Stars is a Nashville based band, that pulls in bits of their influences into their music for a dynamic indie sound of their own. You’ll hear bits of The 1975, Imagine Dragons, and bands like COIN, who they’ve opened up for in the past.
This is my first time listening to Lost Stars and I personally hear ,2016, 1975 vibes. More on the pop side, but you can hear the indie, rawness behind it. I think vocalist Damian's voice brings the rawness to the table. You hear the rasp in his voice that pulls into the emotion of the song to bring it the personal indie storytelling.
The story behind the song is something I think most people relate to in their twenties. It’s about an ex that has always brought you down and comes around when things are good again. But you know that you don’t want them back but, it wasn’t the easiest journey to get to that realization. Almost everyone has that one person. This song hits an emotional spot for people coming to the realization that you can do better without someone, no matter how much they loved that person.
For me, I definitely see myself adding this to my summertime Spotify playlist to listen to with the windows down, driving down the highway, singing along the entire time. It’s a feel good song that makes me not regret decisions I've made in my personal life. A lot of people will feel the same way once you listen to this song!
