Warped Tour, Vol. 8

By: Nicole Juliette Hetlyn

We still won’t admit that Warped Tour is officially over. We had such a fun time rocking out all summer. This is a festival that I have been going to for nearly 10 years. There are so many bands that I have seen take the Warped stage for the first/last time this year, as well as bands I have seen play Warped multiple times. Whether I was seeing a band for the first or tenth time, it was just as exhilarating and emotional watching them take the Warped stage for the final time.

Falling In Reverse came back to play their third and final Warped Tour. Not only was this my first time seeing them at Warped, but it was my first time ever seeing them live. I had listened to a few songs prior to Warped, and I knew that I wanted to catch their set. They put on quite the performance. Ronnie Radke controlled the crowd with his strong stage presence, vocals, and crazy stage banter. I was definitely entertained by this set, and really enjoyed watching them live. Falling In Reverse will be hitting the road this fall, for an intriguing tour: the Roast of Ronnie Radke. This will include an acoustic performance, Q&A, excerpts from Ronnie’s upcoming book “I Can Explain,” and more. Be sure to check out TICKETS and VIP UPGRADES, this is sure to be an entertaining evening!

Bowling for Soup has always been a favorite of mine. Their songs are so catchy, and they are hilarious guys. They are another band that is no stranger to Warped Tour. I remember watching them in 2016 and jamming out just as hard. They kept the stage banter going, making everyone laugh in between every song and constantly joking about how old they were and if anyone knew who they were. The crowd was huge for their set, and everyone knew every single word. For the past 20 years, their music has been so damn good, and they still get on stage and put on one hell of a show every single time. Bowling for Soup will be heading out to the UK for some fall/winter tour dates. For more information, check out their website.
